Christmas 2010

This Christmas was great. Byron was so much fun. He loved getting presents just as much as he loved passing them out and then opening everyone else's. It was fun to watch him get so into it this year.
Santa also brought us another gift, Richard passed all four parts of the CPA exam!!! Wahoo!! Now he just has to complete a take home ethics test and do all of the other paperwork to get licensed. Hopefully he will be a licensed CPA this summer. It's so exciting! No more school!!
We hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season as well.

Party at the Ranch

Went to the Ranch for Uncle David's 60th birthday party and Andrew's 18th birthday party. Byron told Aunt Patti that he wanted to ride Opie (the horse in the picture). Opie was so sweet with the boys. We had a lot of fun. Except when Rich and Byron walked right past a rattlesnake. It was beheaded and all the boys were fasinated with the rattle. It was a 6 rattle rattlesnake. Had a great time visting with our new friends Dani & Mckay and their son Caleb. They are living with my mother in law for the summer.

Summer Fun

We had a blast on the 4th of July. Byron had so much fun helping daddy light fireworks. He loved playing with the sparklers. For about a week after ward he wanted to light fireworks every night. He was so much fun. My little pyro!
We have also been having fun in grandma's pool. At first Byron was a little nervous to get in. Now we can't get him out. All he wants to do now is go swimming at grandma's. He won't wear the floaties anymore either. Jumping off the side of the pool and off the diving board are acouple of his favorite things. He is fearless which makes me a little nervous but when daddy is in the water with him I am ok. Byron is my little fish. He loves the water, which I love. I am so glad that he is not afraid of it. It was funny yesterday in the pool. He tried doing the butterfly stroke. Daddy was doing it, so he decided that he wanted to. It was so cute. He looks like a little frog doing it.

I'm so tired!!

So last night we put Byron to bed around ten o'clock. I went down the hall to go to bed about fourty five minutes later and found Byron asleep on the hallway floor in between his room and ours. When I asked him this morning why he was asleep on the hallway floor, he said, "wanted to watch big tv", and I said, " you didnt make it did you?" He said, "no I tired".

He is so cute. Darn kid.

Zoo 2010

So now Byron is 2 1/2. Yeah, I know I am a slacker. So this is the latest with us. Richard has graduated (again) from Fresno State with a degree in accounting. He has just completed the first section of CPA review courses and will take the first portion of the exam on Friday July 2. Good Luck honey!!

Same old routine with me. Working, playing with Byron, working, playing with Byron, spending time with Richard.

We recently went to the Madera Air Show. Byron had a blast and so did daddy for that matter. I enjoyed it as well. I loved how Byron was so into it.

I love this picture. It looks like he is saluting the pilots when in reality he was shading his eyes from the sun to see the plane.

I'm a Big Boy Now

We had our 15 month check up this last Friday and we are doing good. We weigh 22 lbs 4 oz and we are 30 1/2 inches tall. We are now in the 25th percentile for height and weight and 50th percentile for our head circumference. Not bad for a 5 week early baby. We are catching up to cousin Trent!!!( look out here I come Trent!!!)

Mommy and Daddy thought that it would be good for me to get used to the potty chair and I have started to go poopy and potty in the big boy chair. They put me on the potty when I wake up from sleeping at night or my naps. They also ask me if I need to go and I walk down the hall to the bathroom and hit the top of the toilet. Slowly I am learning when I need to go. My babysitters are helping too. Mommy bought me some special pants that will help me learn not to go in my diaper (Pull Ups). We haven't used them yet, but I think we will soon.

Just for clarification, us potty training Byron does not mean we are going to get pregnant this year. ( Sorry mom, Kimmy, Megan and Amy)
